We shuck all of our scallops in the 'shanty' we built in the back of The Lobster Trap. Once shucked, we rinse and clean them, then pack them fresh into 12oz, air tight, tamper-proof containers. Each container is marked with a freeze by date and can be frozen and saved if desired. All orders include four of these 12oz containers making a total of 3lbs. The containers are shipped in a specially designed insulated box with an ice pack via FEDEX overnight. We ship Monday through Thursday for next day delivery. We fish five days a week in the months of November and December. After the new year, fishing typically slows down and we hang up the dredges to move on to other ventures/adventures. Enjoy!
